Replace the Xs with their MySpace friend ID: (How to find a MySpace Friend ID)
To change the MySpace user status indicator to online:
http://onlinenow.myspace.com/OnlineNow/UserStatusChange.html?UserID=XXXXXX&online=1&visible=1
To change the MySpace user status indicator to offline:
http://onlinenow.myspace.com/OnlineNow/UserStatusChange.html?UserID=XXXXXX&online=0&visible=0
Reload twice. The page is blank; to observe the change in the user online status, reload the users MySpace profile page.
If the MySpace user status indicator does not show as online, reload the MySpace profile page again. If the MySpace user status indicator still doesn't show as online, repeat the entire process once more. If the MySpace user status indicator still does not show as online, the MySpace user status indicator might be disabled. However, it is also possible a blank image is being used as the MySpace user status indicator or the link to a custom MySpace user status indicator image is broken.
Use with Firefox extension Reload Every to reload the page every 15 minutes to show someone as continually online.
