| How to Sabotage a MySpace Tracker |
1. Find the code in your target's profile. If you don't know which tracker they are using, familiarize yourself with the names of the most popular trackers using these lists:
2. Add the domain of the functional part of the tracker to your HOSTS (C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS) file so your visits aren't recorded:
For example, the code for the MySpace tracker Trackzor:
<br /><br /><a href="http://www.trakzor.com/?ref=947009"><img src="http://www.pickzor.com/images/123456.gif" border="0"></a>
<br />
<br />
Line breaks. Only function is cosmetic.
Link. Not used for tracking, but self-promotion.
Image used for tracking visitors. The request for the image is what is used to log the visit
In this case the functional part of the tracker is the image so the following would be added to your HOSTS file:
127.0.0.1 pickzor.com
What this does is set the IP for that hostname to your local machine which will not log the visit.
3. Copy and paste the code on popular web pages, message boards, MySpace profiles, (Such as these) and/or anywhere you can paste html code.
4. Sit back and relax while the code does all the work creating false results for you.
